Songs for Easter Sunday

The song selection looks great to me. I will see you Sat around 4pm for practice. Sounds like a great Sunday service and other activities planned.

The Easter Agenda

Awww, shucks, Joel! We love you too! We'll miss you tonight at the Maundy Thursday service.

Here's what we have lined up for that:

• You shall Love the Lord Your God (Mattie Marie's new one)
• Glory to God in the Highest for closing song

For Easter, here's what we talked about last Sunday:

• Christ the Lord is Risen Today hymn
• Open the Eyes of My Heart
• In Christ Alone
• Glory of God
• Psalm 40 (maybe let people sit down at this point, as it's a lot of songs) :-)

Ben and I threw in Open the Eyes of My Heart Lord, if you have objections, Joel, let us know. We'd like to have a very brief practice on Saturday at 4pm, just to run through Sunday's agenda as there's no way to meet early on Sunday also the hymn and Glory of God are a little new to us all.

As Joel said, you guys are all wonderful and it's a privilege to lead worship with you! If anyone is inspired to do a Good Friday fast with us, join us in a prayerful Good Friday.
